Production Coordinator, Custom Services

We are seeking a publication production coordinator who serves as the primary Coffey resource for our clients and a liaison between clients and production staff throughout the publication production process for custom publications. Ensures publications meet all deadlines and Coffey clients’ design and content standards. Provides solutions to clients on publication and production matters, partnering with other departments as needed to meet clients’ goals and objectives. Documents client feedback, maintains general information including production periods, possible surcharges, cost allocation and serves as an information conduit to all pertinent Coffey personnel. Fosters team collaboration within Custom Services production teams and Coffey as a whole.

Education, experience and skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, English or equivalent related education or experience.
  • Three years’ hospital or health plan marketing, public relations or communications experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation and an interest in building open, trusting client relationships; and the ability to consult, coach and influence our clients in diverse business environments.
  • Ability to conceptualize production and publication improvements and strategize procedures to transform challenges into opportunities; present solutions to problems.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize work to meet scheduled deadlines and promote positive relations; ability to inspire collaboration and ideas in a team environment; juggle many responsibilities and remain flexible.
  • A solid understanding of both business and client goals and how they relate.
  • Self-motivated, evidence of initiative and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
    Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively with clients and colleagues.
  • Macintosh computer skills preferred. Familiarity with a variety of software programs preferred.
