Click-worthy content: 3 links inspired by SearchFest 2016
Members of the Coffey team attended the annual SearchFest conference in Portland, Oregon, last week. We came away inspired and full of great tips and ideas that we're ready to put into action for the hospitals and health plans we work with.
Starting next year, SearchFest will be renamed Engage. The name change makes sense, given that the conference has grown to cover digital marketing as a whole—not just search.
This week's links are taken from—or inspired by—our SearchFest 2016 experience. Enjoy!
SearchFest 2016 takeaways
For those of you who couldn't be at SearchFest, this post from one of the presenters at the conference offers a great high-level overview.
Making your hospital's mobile website great
Not surprisingly, mobile was a big topic at this year's SearchFest. In one of our favorite SearchFest presentations, Justin Briggs, founder and CEO of Briggsby, discussed mobile search. One of his main messages was that just having a mobile site isn't enough. He recommends that marketers read Google's principles of mobile site design front to back—and we couldn't agree more. While it's a long document, it's full of information that will help you better understand how to improve your mobile presence. This isn't just reading for DIYers. You can use these principles to choose the right agency to help you build a mobile-optimized website for your hospital.
