Google is getting ready to make yet another move to emphasize mobile in search results. The search engine recently announced that it will use the mobile version of a web page for ranking instead of the desktop. The change isn't live yet, but it's a big one. Sites that use responsive design aren't likely to see a loss of search traffic when the change goes live, but organizations that offer a separate mobile site with less content are going to need to consider how this update will affect them.
