Click-worthy content: Healthcare content marketing essentials
This week we're offering three articles that every healthcare marketer should read. The first two deal with engaging healthcare consumers with great content and a reader-first website. The third has some important news about hospital search engine optimization (SEO).
Why great healthcare content matters
Increase Your Favorable Outcomes With Healthcare Content (Content Marketing World 2016)
Content Marketing World 2016 took place in September, but for those of you who were unable to attend, here are some great examples of ways healthcare organizations are creating meaningful content for their readers. For more examples of engaging healthcare content, check out the work Coffey does for our clients.
Does your hospital website engage consumers?
Your Website is a Conversation, Not a Presentation (Target Marketing)
This article makes a great case for putting your audience first when creating your hospital's website. Speaking to your readers and their needs will help ensure that your website is a success. You'll find more information about this topic in our blog post: Give people what they want on your hospital website.
Mobile set to take over search
Google is getting ready to make yet another move to emphasize mobile in search results. The search engine recently announced that it will use the mobile version of a web page for ranking instead of the desktop. The change isn't live yet, but it's a big one. Sites that use responsive design aren't likely to see a loss of search traffic when the change goes live, but organizations that offer a separate mobile site with less content are going to need to consider how this update will affect them.
If you need help assessing your mobile site before the update, Coffey's team can help. Call us at 888.805.9101 or email us to talk about scheduling a website audit.
