The team at Coffey Communications has had a great and productive year. One of the things we're proudest of is the launch of this blog back in March. Writing these posts has given us another opportunity to do what we do best—help healthcare marketers solve problems and connect with people in their communities in meaningful ways. (We've even taken home a few awards for the work we've done here!)
As the year draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share some of the topics and posts from this year that have resonated most with our readers.
In 2015, we wrote about this topic most. It's no coincidence. After all, for more than 30 years, Coffey's mission has been to communicate health and healthcare information that enriches people's lives. Coffey has a long history of creating compelling and engaging print publications for hospitals and health plans. So, it's no surprise that one of our most popular blog posts this year was on this topic. The goal-setting advice we offered in this post is relevant to any healthcare marketer who uses print to reach their community.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the topics our readers were most interested in this year. We published this post on March 30, but it continues to be one of the most read items on the blog week after week.
Another topic we're often asked for advice on is e-newsletters. Email is a powerful tool for connecting healthcare organizations with consumers. But creating a successful email campaign requires skill and constant measurement, testing and adjustment. Here are 2 posts that healthcare marketers have found particularly helpful this year:
Mobile continued to be an important topic for healthcare marketers in 2015. Google's announcement early in the year that it would give preference to mobile-friendly websites in mobile search results gave marketers another important reason to offer a good website experience to people who use mobile devices.
