The challenge
Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics (GRH) needed a website that matched the quality of its care. Their old site buried key services, frustrated users and didn't reflect their brand.
The goal
GRH partnered with Coffey Communications to:
- Boost visibility of high-value content.
- Improve navigation for services and locations.
- Align the design with GRH's brand.
- Make it easier for patients to find and choose care.
What changed
Easier access to care
GRH's 19 outpatient clinics were underrepresented. A new Locations module now connects clinics to service pages and the Provider Directory—helping patients quickly find nearby care.
Modern, calming design
Inspired by the Grande Ronde Valley, the redesign blends clean visuals with thoughtful use of GRH's red brand color—creating a welcoming, brand-aligned experience.
Content that works harder
- Patient stories were pulled from low-traffic pages and embedded where they matter most—on relevant service pages. A content audit revealed what users actually wanted. Navigation was restructured so that top content is front and center.
Stronger service pages
Coffey applied search data to rewrite and optimize key service pages. Results:
- Clear, compelling value props.
- Improved SEO for specialties like behavioral health and orthopedics.
- Calls to action that help patients take the next step.
